Hi, I’m David.

Like many people, I took a long, winding road to getting into OSINT.

I started out doing computer networking & support, but I always wanted to be an entrepreneur and work for myself.

Things were very different back then (roughly 2002). There weren’t countless blogs, YouTube videos, or courses to learn from.

I eventually started doing online marketing, built up my business over the next year before quitting my job, and never looked back.

Along the way I became interested in researching cold cases. Many of the skills I learned doing online marketing translated to doing research. I enjoyed the process and started learning everything I could about investigations, research, and OSINT.

In addition to Midnight Intelligence, I’m the Director of Intelligence for the Lydia Lerma Foundation.
